No. 01 — At the bench

The Artist

Hi, I'm Ren — I've been marking skin since 2016.

I started out drawing in the margins of notebooks and never really stopped. Crooked Line is what happens when that habit gets a needle: tattoos built from real drawings, not templates — botanical linework, fine-line portraiture, and old-fashioned American traditional done with a steady, patient hand.

“A good tattoo should look like it was always meant to be there.”

How It Works

From idea to ink, in four sittings

  1. 01

    Consult

Tell me the idea, the placement, the size you have in mind. We talk it through, in person or over email.

  2. 02

    Design

I draw your piece by hand. You see it the day of your appointment, with room for small tweaks before we start.

  3. 03

    Tattoo Day

Stencil, placement check, then we get to work. Breaks whenever you need them — no clock-watching.

  4. 04

    Heal Up

You leave with wrapped skin and a printed aftercare card. I check in at one week and again at one month.
